March & April
Midday 75-85 degrees Midnight 55-65 degrees
This is our summer, hot and sunny.
Along with September and October,
it is probably our most beautiful weather as well as
best for our flowering trees and plants. Summery clothes.
Long sunny days, never humid.
May & June
Midday 80-90 degrees Midnight 60-70 degrees
Hottest period. Bring your lightest clothing,
with a raincoat and sweater for late June when it starts to rain
-- Hawaiian, tropical style, for a short sharp period each afternoon --
followed by sun, now at only 70-80 degrees.
July & August
Midday 70-75 degrees Midnight 55-65
Perfect mountain summer weather - rain at night, sun by day (but not too hot) - cool. Bring summer clothes, plus a raincoat, sweaters for the evenings, and extra tennies in case of getting wet feet.
September & October
Midday 70-80 degrees Midnight 55-65
Beautiful, temperate, sunny weather. Masses of wild flowers. Still some rain showers or storms (afternoon and night). Bring same clothes as for July and August.
November & December
Midday 65-75 degrees Midnight 50-60 degrees
By mid-November, you can feel winter in the air. It will still be hot at mid-day, but the equinox is past and the days are shortened. Bring your light, summer clothing for midday and heavier clothes, including sweater, for evenings and early morning.
