There are two ways to experience Rio Caliente. Our Spa Vacation Packages include selected treatments and are so affordable that you can indulge in extra treatments without feeling guilty. Our Nightly Rates include only access to the amenities, for guests who want to choose their treatments a la carte.
Spa Vacation Packages
Our Spa Vacation Packages have been designed to make it easy for you to relax and be pampered—and save money off our nightly rates. Your Spa Vacation Package includes accommodations, buffet-style vegetarian meals, yoga and water exercise classes, guided hikes, mineral hot pools, steam room, evening programs and selected treatments. Our 2010 rates are unchanged for 2011. Please note, Rio Caliente is not accepting any new reservations after July 18, 2011.

Nightly Rates
Our Nightly Rates include accommodations, buffet-style vegetarian meals, yoga and water exercise classes, guided hikes, mineral hot pools, steam room, and evening programs. Therapeutic spa services can be added at very reasonable rates.

All rates are posted in U.S. dollars and subject to 16% Mexican value added tax. Gratuities for the staff are included, except for your treatment therapists, whom you should tip as you would at home. And, whereas we still take Personal Checks, Travelers' checks or Cash for your bill, we are now taking Credit Cards for your Deposit. Rates are subject to change at any time without notice.
Deposit
A deposit of $300 per person is required to confirm your booking. Once you have completed the Online Reservation Request Form, you will receive a confirmation email from us within one business day (Monday to Friday). In the confirmation email, there will be a link you can use to pay your deposit by credit card. (For returning guests, in case you are wondering about this change, it is because our Reservations Office has moved down to Rio, and we have no mail delivery out here in the Forest).
Bring Pesos
The Airport Taxis are now accepting Mexican Pesos only, so we'd advise, before you leave, that you go to a money exchange and get about 1,200 Pesos (the equivalent of about $100US) to pay for your taxi ride from the airport to the Spa (approx. 625 pesos + tip) or for anything else you may want to purchase along the way. If you require more Pesos later during your stay, the Spa can exchange money at the going rate.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund of deposit with 3 weeks' notice or more. With less than 3 weeks, we'll hold a 75% credit toward a future reservation for you.
