La Primavera Village

Our connection to the local community in the village of La Primavera has been ongoing and creative for decades. Over the past 30 years, we've tripled the number of jobs we provide for the community and now have just over 60 employees. While working at Rio Caliente, employees earn above-average wages and get the opportunity to learn useful skills such as cooking, baking, driving, painting, brick-laying, electrical installation, and plumbing.

In addition to providing jobs we've helped villagers build and modernize their homes, installing indoor kitchens with refrigeration, proper flooring, bathrooms, and separate dormitories for boys and girls. Infrastructure improvements we make in the area benefit everyone.

Many of our employees are part of families that have worked with us for three generations, and we can see the differences first hand.
